Shauchauntou Mountain Bunker (Sizihwan)

The path leading to the bunker entrance is about 50 meters long and winds in a zigzag pattern. The viewing platform is creatively built around a machine gun bunker leftover from World War II, accommodating approximately 40 people. It also faces the Mountain Official Residence within the Former British Consulate at Takao Cultural Park. From close by, you can enjoy the scenery of Shoushan Mountain, and in the distance, you can overlook the 85 Sky Tower, Kaohsiung Port, and Cijin Island. You can also look down upon Hamasen's architectural landscape, a blend of old and new, feel the Sizihwan sea breeze, and immerse yourself in a sense of history. The viewing platform and path are lit, offering a special charm when watching the harbor sunset in the evening.
