Miao Chong Temple was built in 1963 in Qianzhen District, Kaohsiung City. Later, in 1984, due to a road widening project by the Kaohsiung City Government, the temple was relocated to the serene Qingliangshan. Currently, Miao Chong Temple is located at the 7km mark of Provincial Highway 27. Its elegant and peaceful environment offers an excellent spot to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Laonong River. The temple complex consists of seven halls, and its walls are adorned with numerous exquisitely carved Buddha statues, which are considered works of art. The expansive views from this location are ideal for observing distant landscapes.
