Meinong Folk Village

Meinong is the largest Hakka settlement in Kaohsiung. It belongs to the Right Stack of the 'Six Stacks' (Liudui), a Hakka self-defense organization in the Gaoping River basin. It is a small town in Southern Taiwan, rich in Hakka cultural characteristics and with simple folk customs. Unlike its densely populated neighbor, Cishan, slow-paced Meinong retains more of the leisurely atmosphere of its early years. Meinong Folk Village completely preserves Hakka culture and collaborates with local elites from various industries to introduce Meinong's human geography, lifestyle customs, and rich tourism content.
