Daliao Baogong Temple

Established in 1969, it is currently the largest temple in Taiwan primarily dedicated to Baogong. The Kaifeng Palace, built with a three-hall layout, enshrines the black-faced Baogong and the so-called 'literary Baogong,' who is Baogong himself. The architecture is grand in scale, with the front hall serving as Baogong's main shrine, the middle hall as the Five Buddhas Hall, and the third as the Jade Emperor Hall. A pair of colossal golden lions in front of the temple exude a magnificent presence. This temple is also a spiritual center for the locals of Daliao. For tourists, Baogong temples are quite rare, so it is recommended to allocate time to visit this temple when traveling to Daliao District.
