Sun Valley

Sun Valley, also known as 'Chang'e Mountain' or 'Chang'e Valley', is located in Kaohsiung's Yanchao District, on the way to Xinyangnv Lake and Wushan Mud Volcano. Due to the loose mudstone geology of this area, it is subjected to alternating erosion by southern summer downpours and scorching sun, forming barren, jagged mountain ridges and canyons. The desolate circular valley reflected in the lake water creates a unique natural landscape.
