Navy Mingde Training Class (formerly Japanese Navy Fengshan Radio Transmitting Station) (Closed for construction)

The former Japanese Navy Fengshan Radio Transmitting Station, located on Shengli Road in Fengshan District, had always been shrouded in mystery. It was only after it began opening for public viewing on weekends in 2011 that its original appearance could finally be glimpsed. The Fengshan Radio Transmitting Station, built in 1917, covered an area of 271 hectares and was one of the three major radio transmitting stations during the Japanese colonial period. After the ROC government relocated to Taiwan, it also became a site for interrogation, detention, and military disciplinary training during the White Terror period. Due to its rare military architectural structure and profound, significant impact on Taiwan's history, it has been designated as a national monument.
