Central Park Station is a station on Kaohsiung MRT's Red Line, located at the intersection of Wufu and Zhongshan Roads. As the area surrounding the station is a prime district of Kaohsiung City and a hub for crowds, the MRT Bureau specifically adopted 'Modern Kaohsiung' as its design concept. Masterminded by British architectural master Richard Rogers, it features a massive white canopy and light yellow pillars, creating a design concept named 'Soaring.' This white canopy not only creates a fashionable atmosphere and structural beauty for Central Park Station but also, through a special rainwater collection design, channels rainwater into the station's tiered waterfall. Sunlight, flowing water, and green plants on the walls adorn the station, making it as fresh and natural as a forest, echoing and connecting with Central Park. At night, lights illuminate the inside and outside of the station, making the double-row escalators and the waterfall appear incredibly magnificent, and the rain canopy becomes even more translucent, as if soaring with the wind, symbolizing the city's prosperity, takeoff, and growth.
