Qianzhen Fishing Port

Qianzhen Fishing Port is Kaohsiung's largest fishing port. It boasts a water area of 312,500 square meters and a land area of 320,000 square meters, capable of accommodating dozens of thousand-ton deep-sea fishing vessels. Most deep-sea fishing vessels unload their catches here, making the seafood diverse and abundant. It is truly the leader driving Kaohsiung's fishing industry. Various fisheries organizations in the southern region, such as the Ocean Affairs Bureau, Deep Sea Fisheries Research Center, Fisheries Research Institute, labor unions, and the Fisheries Culture Museum, are also gathered here. Currently, it is Taiwan's largest deep-sea fishing port in terms of vessel tonnage and catch volume, making it the nation's largest fishing hub.
