Gangshan Park

Located in the Gangshan commercial district and covering 5.95 hectares, Gangshan Park is the oldest park in Gangshan District. It was formerly Gangshan Shrine, and next to it stands the bustling Shoutian Temple. For many years, it has been an important recreational spot for the public. In 2013, the city government embarked on a renovation project for the park, preserving old trees, removing outdated facilities, and restoring the shrine's torii gate. It also incorporated a large grassy area with drainage hoses to collect rainwater, creating a 1,200-ton reservoir. Additionally, an ecological pond capable of holding approximately 1,600 tons of water was established to replenish groundwater, allowing the park to return to its natural greenery.
