Visitor Essentials

Mount Zion, located amidst the majestic mountains of Namasia District, can be reached by heading north from Jiaxian on Provincial Highway 21 until Bridge No. 12, where a sign marks the entrance to the mountain. Originally a desolate and overgrown mountain range, it was later reclaimed and developed by a group of devout New Testament Church followers, transforming it into a paradise. Mount Zion covers approximately 200 hectares. Although remote, it is very well-planned, featuring parking lots, snack vendors, hiking trails, lakes, and various activity venues for the New Testament Church. The Temple of Zion is situated at the highest point, offering a magnificent and beautiful panoramic view of the cascading valleys stretching into the distance. The followers of Mount Zion live independently from the secular world, cultivating various organic vegetables and teas, raising poultry and livestock, and producing organic, non-toxic products. In addition to being self-sufficient, they also sell these products to visitors as a source of income. As it is located in the mountains, it is suitable for hiking and escaping the summer heat during peak summer. The most beautiful time to visit Mount Zion is when plum blossoms are in full bloom, around the Lunar New Year.
