Jiasian Fossil Museum (Temporarily Closed)

This distinctive geographical background led to the establishment of the Jiasian Fossil Museum. The museum primarily showcases ecological remains of fish and shellfish from Taiwan's inland sea. Its exhibits are mainly divided into four sections: Jiasian Pleurotomariidae (Slit Shell) Fossils, Jiasian local fossils, fossils from various parts of Taiwan categorized by era, and world fossils. With over 6,000 artifacts in its collection, the museum has become a landmark regional professional institution, offering significant academic and tourism value.
