Visitor Essentials

Dakangshan Golf Course, located in Tianliao District, Kaohsiung City, is far from the urban hustle and bustle, offering beautiful scenery, yet it's only tens of kilometers from the metropolitan areas of Tainan and Kaohsiung. Of the 160-hectare site, 101.6 hectares are developed into an 18-hole course, complete with gardens and various dining services. The course was designed by renowned Japanese designer Kunio Ito. Upon entering the access road to the course, you are greeted by straight Norfolk Island pines lining both sides, creating a majestic tree-lined entrance. The course boasts beautiful landscapes, with its 18-hole fairways designed to conform to the natural valleys and ridges, featuring gentle slopes. Ponds and bunkers are strategically placed to increase the variety and challenge of shots. Due to the abundance of large trees, it also enjoys the reputation of being a 'forest course'. To cater to golfers who wish to avoid sunburn, 18-hole night lighting has been specially installed, making Dakangshan Golf Course the only night golf course in southern Taiwan. This allows golfers to enjoy the unique pleasure of cool summer night golfing during the hot summer months.
