Taiwan Temple of Heaven

Taiwan Temple of Heaven is located at the northern end of Dashu District, facing the Gaoping River and Liling Bridge, and surrounded by mountains on three sides. It boasts convenient transportation and magnificent views. The Temple of Heaven covers nearly 30,000 square meters. An imposing welcome archway and ninety-nine steps lead visitors and worshippers into this solemn and elegant sanctuary. The exquisite Nine-Dragon relief sculptures further enhance its majestic grandeur. The Temple of Heaven is a three-story circular building constructed to emulate Beijing's Temple of Heaven. It features red pillars and beams, green arched ceilings topped with golden glazed tiles, exuding a harmonious and grand ambiance. The interior decor is simple yet elegant. It enshrines Qingshui Patriarch, Emperor Guan, and the Jade Emperor on different levels. Besides serving as a place of worship for devotees, it is also an excellent spot to admire the beautiful scenery of the Gaoping River.
