Baihe-Houbi Indian Rosewood Avenue

Two rows of Indian Rosewood trees line Provincial Highway 172A, connecting Baihe and Houbi Station. Their growth is excellent, with well-defined canopies and branches spreading wide, bearing fresh, vibrant green pinnate compound leaves of elegant shape. The scenery transforms with the changing seasons. In winter, all leaves fall, creating a desolate scene of bare branches. Come spring, they sprout with remarkable vigor, and their side branches grow rapidly, providing extensive shade. Roads lined with Indian Rosewood trees are exceptionally beautiful, resembling a green tunnel.
