Dafeng Nantian Temple (Cai Guanyin Temple)

Dafeng Nantian Temple first enshrined Guangze Zunwang (the Fourth Prince). According to temple records, he was brought to Taiwan by a Chinese person who passed through Dapu. During his journey, he found a kindred spirit among the villagers and became close friends. As he was about to leave after staying for several days, Guangze Zunwang suddenly descended and revealed that his divine statue wished to settle in Dapu, to protect the local residents and fulfill an an important mission. However, at that time, Dapu's population was sparse and its economy was struggling, so a simple thatched shrine was built for its enshrinement.
