Tongji Temple

Tongji Temple, also known as Xinying Wanggong Temple, is located in Xinying District, the administrative center of Tainan City, approximately 200 meters east of the city hall. It enshrines various deities, including the Holy King of Zhangzhou, the Venerable Lords Li, Chi, Zhu, Yao, Fan, and Xie (collectively known as Qiansui), Marshal Zhongtan, Fude Zhengshen (God of Earth), Zhusheng Niangniang (Goddess of Childbirth), and Mazu (Heavenly Holy Mother). Its divine manifestations are renowned for protecting the people, drawing a continuous stream of worshippers, and maintaining flourishing incense offerings, making it a central place of worship for residents in the Xinying District.
