The Xinhua Wude Hall was built between 1925 and 1928, located next to the old fire station at the intersection of Zhongzheng Road and Heping Street in Xinhua District. During the Japanese colonial period, it served as a training venue for kendo and judo. Following its renovation, it has been integrated with Xinhua Old Street, the Xinhua Street Office, the Yang Kui Literature Memorial Hall, and the recently completed Dameijiang Cultural Park, collectively forming a diverse and rich Xinhua Old Street Cultural Park.
