Rende Shisan Jia Wude Temple

Rende Shisan Jia Wude Temple is dedicated to the Kaiji Zhonglu Martial God of Wealth. What was originally a religious center for a small village has, after years of development, become a thriving temple, attracting devotees from all over Taiwan. Its origins can be traced back to the early settlers during the Qing Dynasty period. After migrating from mainland China across the sea to the Shisan Jia area, they enshrined the deities they brought with them in their private residences. Over a hundred years ago, a Marshal Temple was constructed using rammed earth, but it later collapsed due to years of disrepair.
