Wanglong Suspension Bridge

The Wanglong Suspension Bridge, located in Longqi Hukengshan Park, was formerly the Hukengshan Suspension Bridge, built during the Japanese colonial period. After the Hukengshan Suspension Bridge became old and unable to bear the load, the old bridge was dismantled in 1998 (Republic of China Year 87) and the "Wanglong Suspension Bridge" was built, becoming a new landmark for the park. Today, the former base of the old suspension bridge can still be seen among the vegetation on the left side of the current bridge. The scenery around the suspension bridge is very tranquil, attracting many couples for dates, which is why it was also romantically known as the "Lover's Bridge" in the past.
