Furong Pond Ecological Park

Furong Pond, located in Chang'an Community of Houbi District, was originally the pond in front of the Lin family's ancestral home, serving as a "Feng Shui pond." Prior to its current state, it was a pond filled with industrial waste. Community residents used ecological engineering methods to transform it into a beautiful pond. Currently, artificial floating islands are installed in the pond, where aquatic plants are cultivated, making it a wetland ecological educational area for water purification and reuse. An ecological trail has also been built, with Formosan Hibiscus and various native plants planted along its sides, giving it distinctive local characteristics.
