Lingbo Suspension Bridge

When taking the High-Speed Rail through the Guantian section of Tainan, one is surely captivated by the red suspension bridge spanning the pond in the distance. The Lingbo Suspension Bridge spans Hulu Pond, featuring a very simple and elegant design. The bridge's red color also evokes the reddish-purple hue of Guantian water chestnuts when ripe. In the evening, when the sun sets and there's no wind, the surface of Hulu Pond becomes still, and the suspension bridge reflects on the clear, golden water, creating such a dazzling and illusory scene that it truly makes one unable to distinguish between reality and illusion.
