The tall and magnificent church building is quite rare in Rende District. While the name 'Taiwan Holocaust Peace Memorial Museum' might not be widely known, many would recognize 'Cheluchian Church.' The movie 'Go! Boy' starring Roy Chiu was previously filmed at Ten Drum Cultural Park, with some scenes featuring Cheluchian Church. The Taiwan Holocaust Peace Memorial Museum is located on the church's second floor and is Taiwan's only cultural museum dedicated to collecting Jewish artifacts. The Holocaust refers to the historical event during World War II when the Nazis persecuted and killed over 6 million Jews. Subsequently, to comfort the Jewish people and promote the idea of world peace, Holocaust memorial museums were established worldwide, and Cheluchian Church is one of them. The exhibition space, extending from the first-floor stairs to the second floor, takes visitors through the peaceful lives in European towns, the upheaval brought about by Hitler, and the persecution faced by the Jewish people. Old photographs and various collected artifacts are fully displayed. It is a truly rare historical and cultural museum in Taiwan, well worth a visit.
