Visitor Essentials
Inside the Likang Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Museum, visitors can discover the century-long history of pain relief medicine development by Taiwan's early inhabitants, view ancient artifacts, and see hundreds of authentic traditional Chinese medicinal herbs. During the visit, professional guides will lead visitors with relatable explanations to understand traditional Chinese medicine and how to apply it in daily life. The museum also highlights important figures in the Traditional Chinese Medicine community. The entrance to the 'Time Tunnel' section introduces modern-day pain relief patches, which gradually evolved from the traditional 'dog skin plaster' (goupi yaogao) commonly seen during childhood. Visitors can also see the semi-finished products and manufacturing equipment for 'dog skin plaster' within the museum.
