Balauye Ranch

Baoweng Village, commonly known as Balauye to the residents of Liuying, has historically been a significant milk production area in Taiwan. However, with the passing of the first generation of dairy farmers and shifts in the industry, the number of dairy farms in Balauye has gradually declined. Some of these have transformed into tourist farms, and Balauye Ranch is one such example. The ranch no longer primarily focuses on production; instead, it features a restaurant and sells dairy products. While the outdoor pastures are lush and green, there aren't many dairy cows. The few cows present are mainly for visitors to experience the fun of milking and feeding them. The ranch is home to many other cute and friendly animals, such as donkeys, alpacas, rabbits, and sheep. These animals are very healthy, lively, and sociable under the farm's care. Visitors often find a sense of healing through their brief, intimate interactions with these creatures.
