The modern building of the hall was completed and opened in 2010. Upon arriving at the entrance, you'll be greeted by warm-toned wooden signs and patterned lanterns, immediately immersing you in the rich Hakka style. The arrangement of paper umbrellas and red lanterns inside the hall further showcases Hakka charm. Inside, numerous daily necessities and farming tools related to Hakka culture are displayed. There are detailed introductions to Hakka humanities, history, handicrafts, cuisine, architecture, and more. The section on Hakka beliefs mentions "respecting heaven and honoring ancestors" (敬天法祖), which is a fundamental belief among Hakka people, rooted in ancient traditional Chinese culture. Here, visitors can deeply experience the Hakka community's excellent traditions of hospitality and frugality, allowing travelers from all over to better understand Hakka culture.
