Nanying Hakka Cultural Center, Tainan City

The current site of the Nanying Hakka Cultural Center was selected by the former Tainan County Government, occupying two county government buildings located at Minzhi Section, Lot 275, Xinying District, Tainan City. In 2005, with a budget allocated by the former Tainan County Government and subsidies from the Hakka Affairs Council, the buildings were jointly renovated and officially inaugurated for use on March 3, 2007. On April 15, 2011, in response to the merger and restructuring of Tainan County and City, it was renamed 'Tainan City Nanying Hakka Cultural Center'. The cultural center is located in the heart of Xinying District, Tainan City. Its interior design exudes a strong Hakka flavor, and it is open to the public for visits. It also serves as a base for serving the local community, promoting Hakka culture, and organizing various workshops and activities.
