Golden Coast

The Golden Coast is Tainan's southernmost coastline, bordering Qieding in Kaohsiung. Stretching from Yuquang Island in Anping, Tainan, to the Golden Coast is a nearly 5-kilometer-long sandy beach. Every afternoon, many visitors come here to stroll, wade in the waves, and fly kites. The golden sunset casts a radiant glow on the sand, creating a dazzling, golden-like scene – this is how the Golden Coast got its name. Sunset and early evening are the liveliest times here. Even after nightfall, the crowds don't disperse; instead, they are captivated by the coastal views. As colorful lights illuminate, the vibrant Golden Coast transforms into a romantic Moonlight Coast, making it a wonderful place for couples on dates and friends to gather at night.
