Chongqing Temple

Chongqing Temple has a long history, being one of the 'Seven Temples and Eight Shrines' of the former capital city. Located in a small alley behind the National Museum of Taiwan Literature, it primarily enshrines Guanyin Bodhisattva. The temple's history dates back to 1778, and it was relocated to its current site in 1916. Having undergone changes through different eras and suffered damage multiple times due to wars, its solemnity and grandeur remain undiminished even after restoration.
