The seminary scene where character Zhu Qing studied in the drama "A Touch of Green" was filmed at Tainan Theological College and Seminary. Due to the drama's immense popularity, the seminary, which already attracted many visitors, became even more famous. Located in Tainan's East District, the seminary was established in 1903. It is currently surrounded by residential areas, and its tranquil atmosphere perfectly complements the seminary. Simple, unadorned gray walls are accented by refreshing Tiffany green pointed arch wooden windows, adding a touch of romance to the seminary's European-inspired style. Walking along the white classroom corridors, the sunlight streaming in fills the seminary with a sacred ambiance. The small central fountain is a favorite spot for many visitors, where watching the koi leisurely swim in the pond brings a sense of inner peace. To maintain a peaceful environment for students during weekdays, the campus is not open for visits. It is only open on weekends for visitors to view the exterior of the buildings; for access to other areas, please contact the seminary to inquire about applications.
