Visitor Essentials
Completed approximately between 1928 and 1931, it is arguably the most beautiful historical building on the campus of Tainan First Senior High School. The auditorium was designed and supervised by the Construction and Repairs Section of the Taiwan Governor-General's Office at the time. Like the College of Liberal Arts at National Taiwan University, it adopts a rare Romanesque architectural style. Its exterior appears as magnificent as a European church, with very elaborate columns and decorations, possessing a strong academic flair. The main building section is an L-shaped structure designed by the Tainan Prefecture Construction Section, known as the 'Red House' to the teachers and students of Tainan First Senior High School. Both historical buildings serve as spiritual symbols of the school and the most cherished memories for teachers, students, and alumni alike.
