Chang Jung Girls' Senior High School - Chang Jung Building

Chang Jung Girls' Senior High School is Taiwan's earliest educational institution for women, founded in 1887. At that time, it was known as Xinlou Girls' School. The sole condition for admission was not having bound feet, yet only 19 students enrolled, which highlights the low status of women in the prevailing social climate of the time.
