Visitor Essentials

After exiting Tainan Railway Station and turning right, you will see a beautiful red building under the blue sky, backed by the towering Shangri-La Hotel building. It has become a prime example of Tainan's blend of old and new. This site was originally the Tainan Office of the Monopoly Bureau under the Taiwan Governor-General's Office. After renovation, it became the Tainan Cultural and Creative Park, transforming the solemn historic building into a popular destination for tourists and locals. The main building of the former office is a charming, antique exhibition space, often hosting various exhibitions. It also serves as a platform for industry matching and cultural/artistic talent interaction and exchange, regularly holding various thematic lectures. Many families also frequent the park to watch trains, enjoy snacks, and participate in DIY craft courses, spending quality family time. It is an excellent venue for practicing the aesthetics of life and a slow-living attitude.
