Tainan Canal Museum

A city-designated historic site, the former Tainan Canal Anping Customs House. Its predecessor was the "Anping Customs Sub-branch, Anping Boat Slip Police Station," established in 1926 during the Japanese colonial period when the Tainan New Canal was opened. It now serves as the Tainan Canal Museum, which not only displays cultural and historical information related to the canal and office buildings from the Japanese colonial period, but also features a riverside cafe that combines the historic site with coffee and books, allowing visitors to enjoy a rich cup of coffee and spend a leisurely afternoon within the elegant historic setting.
