Kunxiban Cultural Park - Longshan Temple

Sikunshen Longshan Temple, a foundational temple for all of Taiwan, is commonly known as the Foundational Sikunshen Zushigong Temple of Taiwan. It is the earliest temple in Taiwan primarily dedicated to Qingshui Zushi (Patriarch Qingshui). The temple was established around the 19th year of the Yongli reign of the Ming Dynasty (1665 AD). Military personnel and civilians from Anxi County, Quanzhou Prefecture, who accompanied Koxinga (Zheng Chenggong) to Taiwan, brought the statue of Qingshui Zushi from 'Anxi Qingshuiyan Temple'. Concurrently, immigrants from Pinghe County, Zhangzhou Prefecture, brought the statue of 'Sanping Zushi' from Sanping Temple. They jointly founded this temple in Sikunshen for devout worship.
