Visitor Essentials

The Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Coastal National Scenic Area Administration, located in Beimen Village, Beimen District, was originally the old Japanese-style office building of the Beimen Salt Pan. The plaza in front is covered with tiles from early tile-paneled salt fields. Behind it is the historic Beimen Branch Office, built in 1923. In front of that is the Beimenyu Restaurant, offering very local gourmet food. To the west, it connects to the park's large banyan tree landmark, known as "Dream Wonderland," where a white piano is placed in front, creating a dreamlike scene perfect for an MV shoot. In line with the "White Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan" theme, surrounding buildings like the Beimenyu Church are also entirely white, reflecting Beimen's white salt industry and white milkfish. The plaza in front of the administration office has now become an important area for art installations. When lit up at night, it becomes incredibly romantic, attracting many photography enthusiasts to capture its beauty. The Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Coastal National Scenic Area Administration can be said to be the most beautiful government office in Northern Tainan and a must-visit spot when traveling to Beimen.
