Yingchuan Ancestral Temple

The Yingchuan Ancestral Temple was built during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty and was renovated and completed in 1956. It is a brick structure, marking the place where the Chen family's first-generation ancestor settled. The temple is a Minnan-style 'kou' (口) shaped building, featuring two halls deep and three bays wide. Its roof frame is of the chuandou (pier-and-tie) style, indicating a wooden structure. The roof is covered with red interlocking tiles and features a swallowtail ridge. The building's body is adorned with painted decorations including floral patterns, dragon motifs, and cloud shapes.
