Resembling a chair for a giant, it serves as a renowned landmark for the Tainan Furniture Industry Museum, attracting the attention of passersby. The museum's predecessor was Yongxing Furniture Store, which was renovated from a factory with decades of production experience, making it one of Tainan's early 'tourism factory' type museums. Inside, it showcases the history and evolution of Taiwan's furniture industry and houses a collection of classic wooden furniture from both local and international origins, serving an educational and entertaining function through its exhibitions and industry introductions. In recent years, with the thriving creative cultural industry, many design talents from various universities and colleges often come here for internships or visits. This has added a talent cultivation function to the museum, allowing the traditional industry to integrate with modern, youthful ideas. The woodworking experience area is the most lively part of the museum, where many visitors interested in the woodworking and furniture industry enjoy hands-on activities.
