Visitor Essentials

Upon seeing this sight, one might mistake it for a palace scene somewhere in Europe. Walking past the Apollo Fountain, where rainbows shimmer in the sunlight, and crossing the bridge piers over the moat, you'll see brave and elegant white lion heads lining up, and majestic Olympian gods neatly arranged on the bridge. After crossing the bridge, the museum's main entrance features a towering dome and various Greek column designs on each side. This grandeur further highlights the splendor of a palace housing precious treasures. The 'Angel of Glory' sculpture, placed at the highest point of the museum building, is a replica of a work by French sculptor Louis-Ernest Barrias. This Angel of Glory, holding a laurel wreath and a trumpet, will forever stand at the very top of the Chimei Museum building, symbolizing the guardianship of this land and glorifying the beautiful people and things of the world.
