Erliao boasts beautiful sunrise oblique light at Taiwan's lowest altitude, where bamboo forests and clouds/mist meet on its badland terrain, creating a breathtaking scene like an ink-wash painting. The season for Erliao's spectacular sunrise views begins after the plum rain season, transitioning into summer-like weather, especially the day after rain. During this period, between 2:00 AM and 7:00 AM daily, Erliao is rarely deserted as long as the weather is clear.
