Yushan Baoguang Sacred Temple

The spiritual center of the Bao-Guang group of I-Kuan Tao. The Nanhua Yushan Baoguang Sacred Temple is the I-Kuan Tao Bao-Guang group's spiritual site in Tainan. Its founder, Wang Shou (Elder Master Wang Shou), considered that after I-Kuan Tao was introduced to Taiwan post-war, by the 1970s, many devotees were gradually passing away due to old age. There was a need for fellow practitioners to assist with post-mortem affairs and conduct them in a manner consistent with their faith. This led to the idea of finding a suitable location to build a pagoda.
