Visitor Essentials
Built in 1965, Baihe Reservoir is a body of water like an emerald at the foot of Guanziling Mountain. The lake and mountain scenery is lush with greenery, with dense trees providing shade within the park area, and clear blue ripples shimmering on the water's surface. Walking in the area, the air is fresh, and one can feel the cool breeze blowing from the lake. The gentle hills along the lakeshore offer expansive views. In the early morning, egrets and various water birds are often seen foraging and flying along the water's edge, until dusk, when they fly back in groups to roost in the woods. Throughout the day, the constantly changing sky colors and light are beautifully reflected and transformed on the water's surface, creating a scene that unconsciously relaxes the mind. It is a reservoir that serves both tourism and recreation, as well as irrigation for public use, and can be combined with Guanziling attractions to form a complete travel itinerary.
