The Wushulin Sugar Refinery, located in Wushulin, Houbi District, Tainan City, was built in 1910. Although it no longer produces sugar, it still retains its original sugar railway system and features a dynamic display of Taiwan Sugar's narrow-gauge trains (five-point trains). With the decline of the sugar industry, the small trains that transported sugarcane also ceased operations. Wushulin Station, which once served as a crucial hub connecting Baihe and Dongshan to Sinying, closed its doors after its passenger service line was suspended in 1979. In late 2002, with the assistance of various individuals, Wushulin Station reappeared before the public with a brand new railway cultural identity.
