The Great Wall hiking trail in Fengyuan District was originally constructed by a group of mountain enthusiasts who loved the forests. The rest stops along the entire trail are uniquely named after locations associated with the Great Wall, such as Badau Louzi, Yumenguan (Jade Gate Pass), and Shanhaiguan (Mountain and Sea Pass).
