Its main white building features a staggered vertical division design, and up close, its facade with a series of clean, sleek windows has earned it the nickname 'Little White House.' It also resembles good books placed on shelves, waiting for people to appreciate and browse. The exterior architecture of the Waipu Branch employs a staggered vertical division design that echoes Waipu's pastoral charm. Large glass curtain walls bring in expansive green views, along with the distant Huoyanshan (Flame Mountain) and Tiehchanshan (Anvil Mountain), allowing visitors to fully experience the tranquility of reading amidst the mountains. On the first floor, the Senior Citizens' Reading Area is specially furnished with sofas, long reading tables, and appropriately heighted bookshelves, creating a home-like living room atmosphere for seniors to read comfortably and at ease. The children's reading area uses clever design and color blocks to create a joyful reading wonderland.
