Visitor Essentials
Ranked as one of Taiwan's six major waterfalls, it is located at the end of the Taoshan Trail within the Wuling National Forest Recreation Area. Also known as "Yansheng Waterfall," it sits at an elevation of 2200 meters with an approximate drop of 80 meters. After the rainy season, the water volume is astonishingly spectacular, and the sound of the surging water is powerful. A viewing platform is set up in front of the waterfall, where you can look for the increasingly faded characters "Yansheng" on the cliff face.
