Tanzi Elementary School Japanese-Style School Building (Visits by Appointment)

Tanzi Elementary School's predecessor was the Tanziqian Branch of Houludun Public School, founded on May 1, Meiji 42 (1909). It gained independence as Tanziqian Public School on April 1 of the following year. In Showa 16 (1941), in conjunction with the reform of Taiwan's primary education system, it was renamed Tanzi National School. After the war, in ROC 57 (1968), it was renamed Tanzi Elementary School.
