Wuchi Cultural Outpost

The 'Municipal Historic Site, former Wuchi Officials' Police Station and Dormitory Complex' is located in Wuchi District, adjacent to Wuchi Old Street and the Wenhua Road commercial area. It officially opened to the public on March 28, 2021, under the name 'Wuchi Cultural Outpost'. This historic site, spanning nearly 90 years, bears witness to the complete system of police administration and police offices from the Japanese colonial period to the KMT government period, as well as the rise and fall of Wuchi Port Street. Recently, it has also launched 'Taiwan's first historic site B&B,' allowing visitors to experience unique Japanese-style culture in Taiwan from more diverse perspectives.
