Taichung Mosque

The Taichung Mosque is located at No. 457, Dadun South Road, Nantun District, Taichung City. It was completed in 1990 and underwent a complete renovation in 2020. It is currently the most architecturally Islamic building in Taiwan and the only Islamic architectural landmark in the central region. The renovated architecture draws inspiration from the colors and elements of the Prophet's Mosque in Medina, a holy site in Islam. It features a magnificent white grand dome, two towering minarets, and eleven large black-and-white faux-stone arches set within its pinkish-orange exterior walls. It is considered the most beautiful mosque in Taiwan.
