Xinsheng Green River Waterfront Promenade

The Green River in the Central District was originally named "Xinsheng Stream" and was renamed in 1912. It was a prominent river in Taichung's "Little Kyoto" plan during the Japanese colonial period. The small Xinsheng Bridge (now Zhongshan Green Bridge) was one of Taichung's eight major night views at that time.
