Moon Gate

The Moon Gate is located to the west of Hexing Village in Dongshi District, facing the Dajia River. Its design and scale are similar to the "Sun Gate". Above it is a blue-lettered couplet that reads: "Leaning on the 'Gui' direction in the rear, all is harmonious; Facing the 'Ding' direction in the front, all is always fitting." In the Heavenly Stems, 'Gui' corresponds to North, and 'Ding' corresponds to South, which also indicates that the Moon Gate faces South.
